Sigma Nu Spring Weekend 2010

The Sigma Nu Spring Weekend will be held the second weekend of April, the 9th through the 11th. We're going to try and kick it up a notch this year with a trip to Baltimore for an Orioles Game on Saturday evening. If you receive mailings from the College you should soon receive the official invitation for the weekend, but you don't have to wait to RSVP. If you're interested in attending the game, please let Chuck Steel know.

Successful Spring Alumni Weekend

I'd like to thank everyone for the successful Zeta Sigma Spring Alumni Weekend. We had a good showing for our first weekend and I think that all those that came enjoyed themselves. My only regret is that I didn't take out my camera and get some pictures to share with everyone!

I'd especially like to thank the Chapter for being excellent hosts. The House looked great and all of the Collegiate Members went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. Based on the feedback we received, I believe that we'll definitely schedule another weekend next year.

Life Safety Initiative Update

At our recent House Corporation meeting the Board approved a contract with Architects Workshop of Hanover, PA. Architects Workshop will be drawing up the building plans required for the Life Safety Initiative work we will be commencing at the House. The first phase of the work will be drawing up complete architectural drawings of the building which will then be used by contractors for planning the various upgrades which need to be performed. This work is scheduled to begin next week and we are still on track to submit plans to the College by the March 1st deadline.

Corey Ehrenwerth Elected Vice President

During last week's House Corporation Directors' conference call, Corey Ehrenwerth was elected to fill the Vice President position. Corey was previously Vice President, but was not initially re-elected to the post due to his absence at the Homecoming meeting. The position was vacated when Chuck Steel assumed the Presidency after Joshua Nay was forced to resign.

Congratulations, Corey.
